Sometimes it seems to be a roller coaster, embossed and milkshake. On of them are afraid, have fun but also a world. I feel on one of those cars at this moment: the anxiety before the start, a slow pace, the big climb that builds up the tension, the highest peak, the ants in the stomach before the descent, the fear becomes adrenaline. Last week I had the opportunity to visit a city (for me) new: London. What can I say ... see
Live Historic Places until recently only seen in the photo is intriguing. Be overwhelmed by the sounds, smells and colors of Camden Town (although a bit 'too strong), go for a run in Hyde Park in the morning and come back with your feet destroyed, lost in the Rough Trade record shop and in the charming neighborhood of East End Brick Lane (nice shops, cafes, super beautiful), let go to sleep at the twilight of the immense Regent's Park, in front of the curious works of Jorn, Backa, Beuys at the Tate Modern and Boettger, have breakfast by the light making kissing a showcase of the sun ... and then laugh and "feel" with your trusted companions.
Then, too much traffic, chaos and inevitable (?) Comparisons with Berlin, a city that I'm seriously aiming for to experience life more livable, less elite, the same (maybe more) artistic ferment and culture. Oh well in any case, no city is perfect: in the coming months will often rise in the German capital in June to discuss the possibility of working in music (all fingers crossed that the initiative is successful) in August for the concert of Pearl Jam (that's cool!), and perhaps (also linked to the visit in June) in September for the Popkomm, the music fair.
